What's next?

The family is always asked, "what's next?" Right now I am not sure anyone knows that answer although the children (now young adults) are talking about finishing the seven summits. For now I think we will all take a break, do some presentations and get on with life. That may not last long however We are all dreamers.

Dan and Adam - heading home

Tonight, Dan and Adam leave for Canada - a long overnight flight. Alan and Natalie get some of their living space back when all the bags go out the door. Their condo is in a very nice part of Santiago just five minutes from where Alan and Natalie work so they usually come home for lunch. We should be thankful - they work a 45 hour work week here starting at 8 in the morning and ending at 6:30 p.m. They only work a half day on Friday which is nice since everyone leaves the city in the summer (that's now since the seasons are reversed).

Happy New Year

The family spent New Year's Eve in Pachilemu Chile a small community on the ocean with black sand. To celebrate the New Year, everyone dresses up and goes to the Central area of town to sing, dance and pop champagne at midnight. We were there joining in the festivities.
Everyone is resting now and trying to gain back some of the weight they lost. Dan and Adam are home later this week.
